We have been asked to remove 4 pony geldings of welsh pony decent from a property near mount george in NSW. These ponies were originally part of a larger group purchased as a rescue project back in 2006. They have since been left unhandled and abandoned on the property. Several other ponies have died from a series of illnesses and injuries which may include toxic poisoning which we assume to be plant based.
These boys were gelded as unhandled 2yr olds through a crush in 2006. They have not been handled since and there are no facilities on the property to do so. We need to move them to a neighbouring property to yard and load them so we can bring them home. We are working with local people to establish a feeding routine close to the exit point of the property. Once this is done we will be easily able to relocate the horses.
