Blue came through the Maitland Sale Yards on September 13th 2012. A 7yr old unregistered Arabian Pony stallion in very poor condition. You could count most of the bones in this little guys body. He rested quietly in the corner of the yard and sought comfort close to where we stood at the rails.
Such a sad and sorry state that no one even bothered to bid on him. The state he was in did not even attract a bid from the doggers. So we put up our hands and gave $60 to bring him home.
What an absolute little gem he has turned out to be. In just a few short weeks we have had him gelded, trimmed, wormed, done his teeth, treated him for lice and most importantly…. FED HIM! Blue is now awaiting his turn at the trainers for starting under saddle.
